Often referred to as the Valley of the Bike people, the Tweed Valley in the Scottish Borders has become one of the world’s leading destinations for anyone who likes to spend their recreational time on two wheels!

The area is home to a diversity of landscapes from forest, hills and wild moorland around Peebles to flatter, neatly farmed arable land to the east. This area is a magnet for those drawn to wild beauty and a desire for adventure.

If its calorie-burning climbs you’re after with jaw-dropping views at the top followed by some gnarly descents – we have some great MTB routes for you. Equally if you prefer a more gentle adventure, riding along the banks of the river Tweed following routes which link places of historic interest and which frequent some of the best coffee shops around, then we have that covered too.

If road cycling is your thing, then let us guide you on routes that avoid busy roads and if you’re partial to a bit of gravel there is a huge variety of amazing routes through the forests along the Tweed Valley corridor.
