GG2-Glentress to Horsburgh Ford

A fantastic route that combines some MTB trails with forestry roads – easy climbing on the Cardie Hill MTB trail and a long gravel descent down to Nether Horsburgh just north of Cardrona.

We like… Amazing views, fun, blue-graded MTB trail climb, 4km descent on forestry road.

Watch out for… shallow burn/river crossing on the descent , short section (200m) on busy main road.
