IR8 – A challenging ride south into rural Selkirkshire

A ride with some fabulous climbs and thrilling descents in stunning landscape. Virtually traffic free this is a great circuit. Climbs featured in the Tour of Britain.

Great For: -This ride really is a true classic.  Stunning countryside on quiet roads  picturesque valleys , steady long climbs,  remote hill tops, great descents and choice of stops on route- a road cyclists dream.

Watch Out for: Always ride at a speed to cope with any unexpected potholes, unfenced farm animals and cattle grids.

Make sure you are well prepared with clothing for any changes in the weather.
