PMTB2-Peebles Circular over Cademuir

Peebles circular to Lyne Station and return via the Barns Estate & over Cademuir

A route that includes a little of all the best bits of the Tweed Valley! An exciting start through the darkness of a half-mile long disused railway tunnel, riverside trail and spectacular views to the West from the top of Cademuir.

We like… a variety of landscapes from gentle riverside trail to hill-top rugged moorland track, and all not too far from Peebles.

Watch out for… you will need a bike light/head torch for the ride through the railway tunnel. There’s quite a climb over Cademuir but worth it for the views from the top.
